1. COMPANY DETAILS.
This website is owned and operated by Molly Browns. The registered office is 27, Stonegate, York, North Yorkshire, YO1 8AW.
2. CONTRACT FOR SALE.
The advertising of products on this site is an 'invitation to treat'. You will indicate by completing the appropriate order form on the site the products that you wish to order. At the same time you will complete an authorisation for us to recover, through your credit or debit card, payments due to us. This means that your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Molly Browns, so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive the 'confirmation of order' email which is sent out once credit card authorisation has been confirmed and stock levels have been checked.
These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Molly Browns on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of Molly Browns will operate as a variation to these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of them.
All online orders will be charged in British Pounds Sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax at the current rate, but exclude postage and packaging.
Prices shown on the website may differ from prices in-store.
4. RECEIPT OF ORDER.
Molly Browns must receive payment in full for your order before it can be accepted. Once your payment has been authorised, Molly Browns will send you an email receipt confirming your order. Please keep this receipt for your records.
In exceptional circumstances, if we are not able to meet the requested delivery date, you will be re-funded with the original price. We wil notify you by email or by telephone. In no circumstances will we be liable to you for any additional amounts.
Molly Browns reserve the right to refuse to supply any person for whatever reason.
5. RETURNS POLICY.
Should you wish to cancel or return your purchase, you should email email@example.com with your intention within 14 days after receiving the goods. With each order we include a returns slip which will include the address you should return your order to, depending on which of our stores will have sent the item to you. Please refer to the returns slip included in your package for the return address.
You will need to return the goods with the original receipt to us in their original condition and complete with all labels.
If you haven't yet received your goods but are still in transit you will need to return them following the information already given.
Items such as hats, earrings and fascinators are not permitted to be returned for hygiene reasons.
Dresses purchased as part of a Sample Sale are still subject to our standard returns policy, however if a different size is required, we are limited to the Sample Dresses in stock. A different size may be ordered but would be classed as a Special Order and would therefore be valued at the full price of the dress rather than the Sample Sale price.
Molly Browns is not liable for the cost of returning items.
The item returned is still your responsibility until received by Molly Browns. We strongly recommend that you return the goods via a delivery service that requires a signature on receipt, insurance to the purchase value and is trackable online.
All special orders and orders made to the customers specification are non-refundable. Upon a return fulfilling all the above requirements a refund will be credited to your original payment method within 14 days.
Items purchased from outside of Europe, in addition to all or any of the above, the cost of customs vat, duties and brokerage are the responsibility of the customer. These payments are to be paid at the time of shipping as goods received by UK customs will not be released until such has been paid.
Customers are advised to take out insurance for orders being sent out on their behalf. Molly Browns will not be held responsable for any breakages / damages during transit.
